<font color="#555555"><font face="Arial"><font color="#777777">Evil Iz a sideproject by montreal's Charles Soueidan aka IZNOGOOD (house-mixes.com/artists/IZNOGOOD), aka Iz; having spent over 2 decades mixing all forms of music in all sorts of venues while playing and helping organize some of Montreal's best techno hardcore events. Charles felt the need to create a more hardcore version of Iznogood, one that would play only hardcore for the headstrong. Taking advantage from years of experience playing alternative, ;metal, industrial and punk ;at college music in the 80s and 90s while working at clubs and events made him an expert in the art of creating and controlling a mosh-pit. This knowledge combined with all those years of experiece have given Iz the tools to take hardcore music to the next level: never preparing a set in advance, Evil Iz will find inspiration on the dancefloor to start his sets and then its up to you: faster or slower, harder or funkier, its always up to the crowd. Slowly, he has become the expert on mixing fast beats with the slower reggae and hip hop sounds giving him the ability to create live remixes that have left Montreal and Quebec ravers dumbfounded. In 1998, after over 5 years spent working at TABOO RECORDS (MTL) ;and ;CHIN PHAT (MTL), Iz opened his own record store XTC RECORDSON. Through this store Charles started his serious involvment in the local hardcore scene. Discovering and importing the best records from all over the gloge. With the help of friends like THE HORRORIST (Things to come), LENNY DEE (Industrial strength), ;DA PREDATOR, MANU LE MALIN as well as advice from THE DON: ;NICKADEEMAS (Syntax rec.NY), IZ created the POSPSICLE CREW and DISCPHUNKTIONNAL RECORDS allowing him to create some Montreal's most intense and memorable hardcore events. Using IZ extensive knowledge of the workings of a beat along with some of his favorite tunes, Iz manage to switch from 100 TO 200 BPM'S IN A FLASH, taking by surprise into a ride they never forget.</font></font></font>
